For Volunteers
HURAA is an extremely tight-knit group of dedicated volunteers who absolutely love spending time with the kids — and with one another! As a HURAA volunteer, you will have the chance to form unique and consistent relationships with these wonderful teens. Absolutely no experience is required, as we provide all the necessary training and preparation. We are currently looking for new members who are interested in this amazing opportunity to work with some of the most inspiring members of our local community.
For Families
Our club, together with Boston University, collectively organizes and attends weekly events for local teens with autism and special needs. Absolutely every teen is welcome! For these events, we partner with the non-profit organization Friday Night Club to put together a fun and unique social environment for the teens we work with. Harvard Undergraduates Raising Autism Awareness (HURAA) is a college club that aims to raise autism awareness within Harvard University through various advocacy events.
